The Multitool
One item you will never find me without on the boat is a good multitool. There are always little jobs to be done on a boat that is on the ocean 24/7. I have found that the only way to stay on top of the projects, is to be able to address the issue immediately. If it requires going to get the tool box, it doesn’t get done. The most common tool used is a screwdriver, but of course, all the screws are different. The best multitool is one that has multiple sizes and style of drive heads within the tool itself. After the screwdriver, pliers are a must. Especially when loosening tough shackles.
